Poem

I have always liked this poem for one reason or another. I wrote it in 2002. I really haven't written much lately so I will post all my old ones for now.

Four star romances all in hand

all in bloom

all in tune.

Four star romances peering thru this room.

Turn around now and take your time.

It's all mine.

It's all mine.

With great expectations we receive what we will

and as for the rest

We rate the time

and wait for the next ride.

Blend it apart,

This four star romance,

Pull it away

and rate it, your own way.

I'ld like to say I enjoyed the visit

but hell I wish I could stay.

I left a pillow on my mint for the bell boy.

It was a nice ride,

a nice time,

wish it all could have been mine.

This four star romance;

so clever

so clever.

Free room and board,

Free love,

So take it.

Only meant for one,

Only meant for some.

Rest now,

Rest now

and in the morning a tasty mint for your breath.

Chocolate breath,

breath from Aspen.

All is yours,

All is yours.

My rated romance,

This treated indifference.

Love the stars,

Love this star.

Sleep tight

and it will be alright.

Four star romances in a Western Hotel,

Northern lights creep in

and you'll wake in the morning.
