Today my sister Brittany had her baby boy via emergency c-section @ 10 am at Northeast Southwest tower Second floor, room 2025. He came out ready to great the world with open lungs and an open mouth. Born at only 34 wks and 3 lbs, he is healthy and pink and although in NICU doing much better than the nurses anticipated. My sister got sick yesterday and was checked in the hospital only to discover she had toxemia. So with a few tests this morning they decided to take the baby out with the results in less than 20 mintues. Apparantly they had a good feeling they were about to do this yesterday because they gave her a shot to help Aiden's lungs develope for his first breathe in the world. He is sooooo itty bitty and I just want to pop his toes and give him lippins. Brittany was drugged when we left her and her BP was elevated so we were told she needed lots of rest and shouldn't be stimulated and were basically kicked out. I came back to work. Brandy is also having her graduation today. She is graduating from RN school! YAY. I am so proud of her for going back to school and getting her degree. I remember thinking when she got married almost out of high school how much she is wasting her chance to go to college because she is so smart. I was so shocked when I heard she was going back and actually started when I first went to Kingwood college and here she is almost 4 years later, graduating! So amazing! Today is just a crazy day. Crazy weather, crazy nephew being born, crazy sister being drugged and cut open, crazy other sister graduating and starting to work in the labor and delivery room in a couple of weeks, crazy Jeff's boss's dad dying and having a funeral today, crazy me for having stinky shoes and can smell my feet when I take my shoes off, lol is that too much information? Sometimes I do that. Also crazy that I am finally coming home today to a wonderful Jeff and miracle Brittany.
Also scrapbooked yesterday, dang Beka and her being right about liking it after all. I'm not all about to make a scrapbook work shop but I do have a scrapbook drawer at home and a pretty good collection of Acrylic paint for taking Brittany's hand and feet prints and making a pretty awesome memory. Yea Im a bad ass.
