Childhood is filled with many special moments. I am glad I am able to experience those moments with my kids. They won't remember most of them but at least they will have allot of pictures to be able to tell how much fun they had and sometimes how miserable they were. I am such a lucky mother and without the pure will of God I would never have been given the chance to bask in the glory of motherhood. I would never have been able to experience the extreme ups and downs of being a parent. Not a day goes by I don't think about what my life would still be like childless. Always searching for a way to fill that void. When things are crazy and my kids stress me out I remember sitting in their empty room before we had them, folding kids clothes of the children that may never be and realize NOTHING can be as bad as it was then at that moment for me.
Today I found out that Eric, baby #3, is being added to Kade's social workers case load today or tomorrow so sometime in the very near future we will be getting allot more updates about him. The social worker plans on going up to see him in the hospital and letting us know how things are going with him. She seams to think he should be in our home before the end of the month but I am still leaning more towards October.
I found a new daycare for Brittany to go to in New Caney. The Rocking Horse, if you've heard bad things then let me know, otherwise I am looking forward to her start on Monday. Its big and nice and she gets to do tumbling on Wednesdays. They potty train their kids to the max with only panties and tons of extra shorts. No pull ups whatsoever. I hope it works. When Eric comes home Kade is going to start going too so Adell can watch Eric at home and give him lots of one on one time since he will need all that extra attention to attach after being in the NICU for so long all by himself. Kade will be in the older infant room for baby's 10 months and up. There are only like 3 other kids in there so it will be awesome.
So we had a super busy time over the Labor Day weekend and I wanted to share some good pictures we took.

This was back in July when Jeff was staying home with Kade and was trying to change his diaper when the little monster thru a fit half way thru and ran away to play the piano. LOL

This is another naked incident when Grandman and Papa were watching Brittany and Kade while we went to a class at DDC. Grandma "claims" that she turned around for a few minutes and then realized Brittany was naked trying to get into the pool on the porch.

The Dr Pepper is closed but it looks funny. I can already tell Kade is going to be a Dr Pepper fein just like his daddy. It kinda fits him. LOL

And this was awhile back too when Kade was eating some new stage 3 food. Spaghetti. He pretty much ate, played and rubbed it everywhere.

Brittany is getting to be such a big girl. Yesterday she wore a shirt to school that says, " I am a Princess and I know it" so I guess all the teachers pointed this out to her because when she came home she wouldn't stop saying, "Im a princess" it was cute except for this morning when I was getting her ready for school and she was half asleep still sitting on the potty she rolled her head back really lazy and mummbles "Me princess" as she pats herself on the chest. LOL

Kade playing PS3 with his Daddy....

Brittany got this dry erase book and played with it for hours. Okay so these pictures are way before this weekend but I wanted to add them in here too.

Daddy making Kade do angry face! Which he thinks is hilarious! Do you see his one giant tooth?

Okay finally to this weekend. We went to Toys R Us just to look around and found this Tinkerbell costume which Brittany HAD to have since she is all of the sudden obsessed with her "TinkBell" It is kind of big but she doesn't care. She HAD to get the slippers too... thank God Daddy understood this and didn't fight us on it.

We also got the kids their costumes for the Renfest this year. We picked out the costume Brittany wore last year because it was such a big hit and there were like NO dragons there except for her and all the Renfest people were in love and talking to her and coohing over her. LOL

They do not look enthused with Momma.

But Daddy made them laugh.

Then Kade took a nap and Brittany hung out around the house for awhile in hers. heh heh
I don't know why but she thought it was cool to have her dragon head on the side and watch tv.

Then out of the blue for some strange reason Jeff decides to get in touch with his feminine side, although it was only a good effort, and braid Brittany's hair! It took him like an hour and 1/2 to do this damage. She wiggled the whole time and cried in the morning when we took it out. It was a giant puff that needed moisturizer ASAP.

This is Kade's new CHEESE face when you take his picture. Brittany quickly picked up on it because quite frankly we die of laughter every time he does it. It never gets old, just cuter.

We bought them Halloween jamies and they glow in the dark. Lord knows how long they lay in bed looking at their nightgown but they don't make a noise doing it. Brittany was telling Kade how cute his smooshy face is. Seriously, that is what she was saying to him.

I tried to take some pictures with the kids and Kade had fun.
But Brittany dropped her cup on the way to my lap and cried like an angry spoiled toddler. We took pictures anyways.
