Kade Update!!!

Sooooooooo It's been awhile since I wrote in here! I guess you can say that. Like nearly 3 months! lol Well things have been going good. Brittany Buck is deff filling her role as Ms Princess with attitude. Got down the fact that she is Brittany Michelle Buck and if you give her a stink eye she is mostly likely to poke it out.

Kade has been growing up so fast! As most babies do during those stages of pure awesomeness. He is just about ready to start walking. He can stand but gets scared and sits down. He had court yesterday and we were sooo totally expecting to have TPR done so we can hurry up and adopt him BUT CPS had other things in mind.

At the beginning of August Kade's birth mom had a little baby boy. He was born almost dang near close to 3 months early. Poor little baby will probably be in the hospital until Oct. CPS has asked us to take him into our home. After much thought we decided we would. We cannot see him nor really hear much about him and probably won't until its closer to his time to get out. We are going to name him Eric Daniel and he will fill the role of the extra spoiled teeny tiny helpless baby brother. Well Eric had his little court yesterday too, right along with Kade. They officially took Eric into state custody and will hold a preliminary hearing on his progress again in Oct. What this does, I have no idea? Maybe the lawyers just get together and say, "yea he's still in the hospital and his birth mom is still insane.... " But anyhow, after his little trial Kade had his. No supposedly I was supposed to go in and hear, "Birth mother, you are pretty worthless, we strip you of your motherly 'duties', and now we shun you from our court room" but instead I heard "Okay we are going to continue this case on Dec 16th" good bye!

So me and Jeff, confused and angry, marched out of the court room and had our SW explain to us what the hell was going on. She said before court, the birth mom's lawyer and CPS "negotiated" that if CPS didn't fight the extra 4 month extention on Kade then they could join Eric and Kade's case together and both be TPR's in Dec if the birth mom doesn't get her crap together. That way Eric doesn't have to stick around in foster care waiting for the inevidable to happen after Kade's TPR. Now granted this did piss the shit out of us BUT my SW also said they are waiting for some results back from a psych evaluation of the birth mother and if it comes back and she is not fit then there is nothing she can do to get them back that will matter in court. My sw then went on to say how very much likely this is because after a ten minute conversation with the woman she realized the woman is insane and living in another world. So all is well and now we just wait another 4 months. UGH! But wait its really okay.

So in the meantime, Kade has a birthday coming up on November 1st!!!! He will be turning the big ONE! So what do I do? Get ready to party of course! I decided to have it at home and rent a toddler moonwalk for all the other kids invited so they aren't just looking at the trees in our yard and a cotton candy machine. I want to go YO GABBA GABBA since its Kade's all time brain washing, comatose show. Here's some awesome idea's I found online today.








The cutest make it yourself invitations. I was so going to do this with Brittany's and got lazy so we will see how far this goes... but still... totally awesome!

So all in all, lots to think about. I am even already planning for the holiday! And trying to get stuff together for the Ren fest this year!!! So excited! We are going on Nov 28th because it will be the last weekend they are in town for the year and it will be all cool and awesome outside and their stuff goes on sale! SWEET!
