Cookies at Nanny's House!

Okay so I just uploaded a million pictures, but all with good reason. Every year since I was 7 years old we have made Christmas cookies with my Nanny. And now that I have a daughter, YAY, she gets to continue the tradition. These cookies, are not really made to eat as much as they are to play. LOL, later you will see why. And no one really eats them in my family but yet each year my Nanny still proudly displays them at our Christmas Eve dinner to show what a great time she had with her grandchildren and now great-grandchildren.

Saturday we were the first ones to show up. It was 8:30 and my Nanny decided to let Brittany get down and dirty before everyone else arrived. And boy did she!




She thought it was allot of fun to play in the flour! We did Thanksgiving cookies too but I dont think we used much flour with those.




My Nanny was trying to teach her to press down and wiggle and then you would have your little bear or angel shape cookie and then we cook them. Yea she understood the wiggle part but was much more interested in getting dirty.





At one point she was coughing and put her hand over her mouth where the entire bottom of her face was covered in flour, and then she rubbed it in her hair!

After we cut them out we cleaned her up a bit so she could run around but she decided to throw a little fit because I wouldn't let her play in the bathroom! Bad toddler!

My Nanny then convinced her to sit still long enough to paint some snow flakes on her toes. She really liked it and I was suprized to see her sit for so long. Later she did some on her fingers but she ate those off! lol I hope the paint wasn't toxic!

There were allot of Grandkids and Great-Grandkids show up around 9. This is my cousin Anna's daughter Carmen. She is kind of a Momma's girl and wont talk to anyone else but her Mom. Its kind of funny. But slowly she is interacting more with us and with Brittany.

Here is our attempt to take a nice group photo with Nanny and all the great-grandkids. As you can see, it was short lived.

Then once the cookies were out of the oven we proceded to decorate them. Nanny makes her own icing from powdered sugar, milk and food dye. The kids ate more of the icing then anything! It was pretty funny and the cookies were basically just smeared in frosting.

This is what Brittany looked like after she was done "decorating" the cookies. Covered in frosting from head to toe. You can bearly tell but she had it all over her legs and feet.

So I had to strip her down to clean her off.

And wash her in the sink.

After that we went to my mom's house for more family gatherings and then off to Jeff's grandmothers to make candy. I LEFT MY CAMERA at my mom's house like an idiot so didn't really get pictures of the rest of our day! But it was LONG.

We had a good time though and I think Brittany really liked it too! We go back on Christmas Eve so I will take some pics of the cookies, which I completely forgot to, and then see how many people actually eat them! heh heh

Kitty Mitty gets a bath!

So Kitty was being all cute and playful as usual when I decided to give her a bath because her eyes get crusty and I thought the warm water would be nice on them, plus I saw a couple of fleas.



Boy was she not happy. Suprizingly she swatted at me a million times but never used her claws.




She really is a skinny minny kitty !

She was not liking the extra blinding flashes!







I blew dried her as much as I could and then she sulked on the sofa. Poor baby!

Myspace Pose!!!

So last Friday Jeff had his work dinner at "Perry's Steak and Grill" and we were getting ready and waiting for Jessica and Tommy to pick us up when we decided to snap some pics of us together, which we haven't done in awhile, in myspace form. lol

In this picture you can really see a good shot of my double chin. It's fabulous.



In this shot I did the double chin cheese face and Jeff did the scary side head face.




In this picture we did the Brittanys hur hur hurrr face.





I decided to get a better angle at just my one chin from up high and it worked.






Jeff's side single eye is kinda ruining this pic.







Then we took a pretty good one.








Ah my husband is so handsome. You would never really know he is the devil incarnate. heh heh

Oh the tantrums!

So Sunday Brittany decided she wanted to hit one of the dogs and Jeff was telling her not to hit and all of the sudden she blew up and had a tantrum because she didn't want to hear it! It was obviously near nap time.

Then she realized she was not going to get out of her little talk and wanted her Daddy to hug her while she cried. LOL It was cute and disturbing.




Then she decides since Daddy won't let her hit the dogs she will just walk over to Mamma.




And hit the sofa. Do you see that look? She is totally testing me, daring me to tell her to stop it.

I didn't get a good picture of it but she started laughing. What a psycho baby.

Christmas Decorating!

"You gonna help me decorate this tree fools?"


So now that I am posting pictures up you must suffer. Muh ha ha ha! I am gonna be one of those psycho mothers who sends updated pics of my daughter to all friends and family like they care to see monthly pictures. Didn't we already have someone in the family doing that? LOL HA HA HA HA.

Holding up the ornament she picked out this year! She did such a good job. It was the first one she picked up. It said "New Home 2008" with a little bear sitting on a house key. It was perfect and I can't wait to tell her that story when she gets older.

I think Jeff is telling her to say "Mine" in refering to who's Christmas tree it is.

Half Naked Christmas Baby!

What's up with kids wanting to be naked all the time? I don't run around naked. It's not like she picks this up from somewhere. I promise we don't sit around the house with our shirts off. lol But still she insists on taking her clothes off and trying to put them back on and for some reason wearing her Daddy's huge tub socks! LOL




One of the pug puppies was trying to get her and her socks! She was not too happy about it.

So she danced all the way over in front of the tv because she knows Daddy hates it when she gets in front of the tv but she thinks it's funny and does it anyways. Do you like her long toes?

Thanksgiving!!!

Yea I know its way past Thanksgiving and I probably should have posted these back then but Melissia has made me a little braver in posting pics. And since I put this blog up on private we shouldn't have a problem with that ummmm kay.

I would like to introduce you to Mugsley Corkey Mogwai Shangalang! She is my new Persian Kitty Meow!



She loves to eat and sleep and hang out on the kitchen table.




She is such a little midget and I love her.
